Pageant Planet’s Scoresheet Tabulation system is designed to give directors immediate visibility, structured control, and permanent records of every score submitted.
When used properly, you do not “wait” for results.
You monitor them as they happen.
This guide explains how to track scores, manage judges, and maintain full control of your competition results.
Step 1: Log Into Your Director Dashboard
Begin by logging into your account:

From there, access your Dashboard:
Select your event and click manage.
On the left hand menu click Scoresheet Tabulation to open the live scoring panel.
Step 2: Monitor Scores in Real Time
As judges submit their scores:
Rankings update instantly
Composite scores are automatically calculated
Leaders rise to the top in real time
Ties are clearly identified
There is no manual tabulation required.
The system applies your configured scoring percentages and weighting automatically, ensuring your final rankings reflect the structure you defined.

Step 3: Watch for Ties
If two contestants are tied:
The system will flag the tie.
You will be prompted to resolve it.
After conferring with the Head Judge, increase the winner’s score by one point.
This mirrors traditional paper scoring procedures — with one major advantage:
Every adjustment is digitally recorded.
If a contestant ever questions a result, there is a clear audit trail.
Step 4: Use a Judges Coordinator (Highly Recommended)
While the system manages scoring, directors should not attempt to manage judges alone during a live event.
Assign a Judges Coordinator.
Their responsibilities should include:
Confirming all judges are logged in before competition begins
Verifying each judge has selected “View Profile As: Judge”
Monitoring that judges toggle between Optional and Non-Optional phases correctly
Ensuring no judge leaves a contestant unscored
Communicating technical issues immediately
This role eliminates confusion, prevents scoring delays, and protects the pace of your show.
Directors should oversee results — not troubleshoot logins mid-competition.
Optional vs. Non-Optional Phases
If your competition includes optional categories (such as National Costume) in addition to required phases:
Judges will toggle between sections using the:
Non-Optional button
Optional button
They do not see separate scoresheets.
This keeps all scoring centralized and prevents duplication errors.
Best Practices for Smooth Monitoring
Have judges arrive early and test their login.
Encourage mobile device scoring for efficiency.
Monitor rankings throughout the competition, not just at the end.
Confirm tie-breaking procedures before awards begin.
Keep your Judges Coordinator stationed near judges during scoring.
Preparation prevents delays.
