How can I edit, reply or delete a review?

Pageant Planet will not delete any reviews unless that review violates our Terms of Service. However, the reviewer has the ability to delete any review they desire. 

How to Edit a Review You Wrote

1. Visit the profile where the review is located. 

2. Click the "three dots" located in the top right-hand corner of the review box.

3. Click "Edit". Please note that after you edit a review, the word "Edited" will appear next to your review.

4. Edit your review and click "Update"

How to Delete a Review You Wrote

1. Visit the profile where the review is located. 

2. Click the "three dots" located in the top right-hand corner of the review box.

3. Click "Delete"

4. Click "Ok" when asked, "Are you sure you want to delete the review?"

Please note: Pageant Planet will not delete a negative review unless it violates our terms of service. 

How to Reply to a Review You Received

If you are a director...

1.  View your profile as a Pageant

2. Click "Manage" on the pageant where the review is

3. Click "Manage" on the event where the review is (Please note: The "Review" section on the menu will only be visible after you have received your first review) 

4. Click Reviews (please note if you're on a mobile device you will first need to click "Event Manager" then scroll down to "Reviews")

5. Click "Reply" on the review

If you are an expert (i.e., coach, photographer)...

1. View your profile as the appropriate role

2. Select Reviews

3. Click "Reply" on the review

Troubleshooting

Businesses cannot repeal reviews. We expect the Pageant Planet community will almost always be fair and helpful when leaving ratings. However, there may be times when a business feels a specific rating is unfair. A business' average rating will reflect the great experience they deliver to contestants.

Reviews & Review Removal Policy

Pageant Planet values transparency and authentic experiences within the pageant community. Because of this, reviews are generally not removed simply because they are negative or unfavorable.

Per our Terms of Service, Pageant Planet will only remove reviews under the following circumstances:

• The reviewer requests the review to be removed
• The reviewer gives permission for the review to be removed
• The review was posted using a fictitious or fake name
• The review violates Pageant Planet’s Terms of Service, including but not limited to hate speech, discrimination, obscenity, spam, extortion, or vulgarity

Pageant Planet reserves the right to moderate and remove content that violates platform policies; however, differences in opinion, criticism, or negative experiences alone do not qualify a review for removal.

We encourage users to respond professionally and respectfully to reviews whenever appropriate, as thoughtful responses often help provide additional context for future contestants, parents, directors, and industry professionals.
