Understanding Pageant Pay for Buyers

When you purchase an item from Pageant Planet that is at least $150 you will get the option to purchase this item via Pageant Pay. 

Selecting PageantPay will split your total into three payments. The first payment, that is 1/3 of your total will be charged immediately and the other two payments will show up as pending on your credit card statement. 14 days after the initial payment the second payment will be processed and then on the 29th day following the purchase the third and final payment will be processed. 

This gives you the power to break up your payments over two credit card billing cycles. 

Example

Let's say you pay for your pageant entry fees, a dress and a pair of shoes via Pageant Planet and the sale total is  $1,500. Then you decide to use Pageant Pay when you check out. What we do is break that payment up into 3 payments (i.e. $500).

We charge the first payment of $500 right away and the other two payments of $500 are set to pending.

Please note: It's been reported that on certain credit cards that extra pending charges appear but they will fall away in 24-48 hours.
