Objective
To show judges how submit a score on Scoresheet and to show directors how they view those scores.
Key Steps
- Login to your Pageant Planet and go to your dashboard. Ensure the "View your profile as" is set to "Judge."
- Select View Scoresheet for the pageant to score.
- Judges enter scores for contestants in each phase of the competition (e.g., talent, evening gown) and submit them.
- Scores cannot be edited once submitted.
- Monitor scores as they come in on the director's end to track leading contestants and any ties that may occur.
- In case of a tie, follow the system's instructions for tie-breaking procedures.
Cautionary Notes
- If you have any challenges call (434) 838-3326 to get a live agents help.
- Double-check scores for accuracy before finalizing them to prevent errors in the final results.
- Follow the system's guidelines for tie-breaking to maintain fairness in the competition.
Tips for Efficiency
-
Encourage judges and MCs to use mobile devices for scoring convenience.
-
Judges receive an email one hour before the competition to start scoring. Judges can also access the scoring page by going to their Dashboard.
-
Regularly communicate with judges and MCs to address any issues or questions that may arise during the scoring process.
-
Scores will come in real time for the director to see, and they will be ranked.
- When there is a tiebreaker, it gives you the option to to select the winner. After conferring with the head judge, as you would with tradition paper vote, you will increase the score of the winner by one point. This system tracks tiebreakers, so if there is ever a question from a contestant, we have a record.
